About Us
Since 1997, Teens in Public Service (TIPS) has been empowering young, community-oriented leaders by providing paid internship opportunities at non-profit organizations in the Greater Seattle Area. These internships offer teens practical work experience, an understanding of ethical leadership, and a venue to put their values into action. In addition, our nonprofit partners gain additional staff during the summer at no cost to their organizations, along with the youth voice and perspective our interns bring.
TIPS has partnered with over 200 different nonprofits and continues to create internships that range in service area and focus - whether you’re a volunteer coordinator at an environmental education camp or a social media coordinator at an arts & culture program, there’s bound to be something that fits your interests and skills. You can see our 2024 partners and their interns’ summer reflections here.
Thank you for your interest in the TIPS 2025 Summer Internship Program! Before you begin, make sure you have reviewed our eligibility requirements and program FAQs which include details about TIPS internships and mandatory program requirements.
